Promising and talented actor Naga Shaurya is set to entertain audiences with Rangabali, a romantic action entertainer. Directed by Pawan Basamsetti, the movie is scheduled to release this Friday. On this occasion, we met with Naga Shaurya for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.
Tell us about Rangabali
Rangabali is all about a person’s native place. No matter where you are or what you do, you always feel a connection to your hometown and it feels like your own ground, even if a rich person stands in front of you to challenge it. The movie came out very well and I assure you that everyone will enjoy it. The music and re-recording will surely leave you in awe.
Why do you seem so confident about the film?
I found richness in the content and told myself that it has everything needed to entertain the audience and become a blockbuster. That’s why I took the responsibility to promote the movie, and I believe that Rangabali will meet our expectations.
Tell us about the director
Director Pawan Basamsetti knows exactly what he wants from me and for the film. He handled the craft very well, and he has a bright future in Tollywood.
What was your working experience like with the heroine?
Yukti Thareja is a hardworking actress with all the essential qualities to be a top heroine in the industry. Besides, she is an amazing dancer. I loved working with her in this movie and she is a wonderful co-star.
What about the controversial promotional campaign?
We didn’t intend to hurt anyone. We just tried to promote our movie in a different way. However, we trimmed the portions that offended certain people and released the remaining video in parts.
What are your future projects?
My 24th film is currently in the production stage. The first schedule has finished, and once Rangabali is out, we will commence the second schedule. As of now, I have no plans to make my Bollywood debut or anything like that. I will share updates on my movies in the coming days.
