Victory Venkatesh is set to appear in and as Saindhav, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, scheduled to release on January 13, 2024. Before the release, we had a brief interview with the producer, Venkat Boyanapally. Here’s the transcript.
Tell us about Saindhav
Saindhav is an emotionally charged film that will evoke tears as the audience leaves the theaters. The emotional aspect will undoubtedly resonate. It’s a family movie with contemporary action.
How did Saindhav come to fruition?
Venkatesh garu is my favorite actor. While working with Nani on Shyam Singha Roy, I watched Sailesh Kolanu’s HIT trailer. We both liked it, and after our meeting, Sailesh approached Venkatesh. Surprisingly, within 24 hours, Venkatesh gave it a green light. It’s a pleasant surprise for me, and I’m thrilled to produce this project. When I asked Venkatesh garu if he would consider our project as his 75th film, he said it’s all destiny. Sailesh deserves all the credit.
Did you encounter any financial challenges considering the star-studded cast of the film?
I anticipated this when I heard the story. Despite being an extensive movie, I produced it lavishly without making any compromises.
Did the delay of Eagle turn out to be advantageous for you?
It speaks volumes about Ravi Teja’s generosity, benefiting not only us but every movie releasing during the Sankranthi season.
Do you have plans for multi-starrer movies?
Certainly, I collaborated with Nani and Venkatesh garu, my favorite actors. I aspire to produce a multi-starrer film featuring both of them—a dream I’m determined to pursue with enthusiasm.
