Young hero Raj Tarun’s upcoming fun entertainer, Raju Gadu, is scheduled for a June 1st release. On this occasion, we had a brief interview with him. Here is the transcript.
Q) How did this film materialize?
A) One year back, director Sanjana had approached me with this script. I immediately liked the storyline and agreed to do it. But due to my prior commitments, the shoot got delayed and finally, we are here for the release.
Q) Tell us about your role in the film?
A) My character’s name is Raju, who has kleptomania. I’m sure that the film will provide full-fledged entertainment to audiences.
Q) How is it working for back to back films in AK Entertainments banner?
A) I’m very happy to be associated with AK Entertainments. I hope the same bonding continues in future too.
Q) Why are you not doing films frequently? Have you became choosy these days?
A) Yes. Instead of doing two to three films at a time, I thought of focusing on one film at a time and give my best to it.
Q) Tell us about your heroine Amyra Dastur?
A) Initially, it took some time for both of us to gel well. But we soon became good friends. She is a talented actress and very professional.
Q) Tell us about your next project, Lover?
A) Yeah, except for three days, the entire shooting part is done. We will be planning its release as early as possible.
Q) Did you sign any new projects?
A) Next, I will be working with our Kumari 21F director Pratap. And then there’s a project with debut director Vashita also under discussion.
