Vishnu Vinyasam is the upcoming Telugu romantic comedy entertainer starring Sree Vishnu and Nayana Sarika in the lead roles. The film is set for a grand release tomorrow and is directed by debutant Yadunaath Maruthi Rao. It is produced by Sumanth Naidu G, while Radhan has composed the music. Ahead of the release, Sree Vishnu interacted with the media, and here’s the transcript.

How did Vishnu Vinyasam start?

Maruthi Rao garu told me this story, and I liked it instantly. It connects with one and all easily because of its relatability. Vishnu Vinyasam is a clean family entertainer. As soon as I heard the story, we began the shoot.

It looks like the heroine’s character is more dominant. How will the audience receive it?

That’s the more enjoyable part of the film. Every time she brings some sort of trouble for the protagonist, and my reactions will bring smiles to the faces of viewers. The characterizations of the lead pair are designed with a unique touch. Nayan Sarika’s character feels suspicious, and that’s the fresh aspect of the movie.

Why do you often work with debutant directors?

Not that I don’t want to repeat my directors. If it’s someone’s first film, they won’t have any calculations or deviations. It’s easy to get the job done with them, and we also gain some energy.

How was it working with Nayan Sarika? How did she come onboard?

Initially, we wanted to cast an experienced actress for the female lead role. After watching Aay, we felt she would be the right fit. Nayan Sarika knows Telugu very well, and she even did scenes with lengthy dialogues in a single take. We are all very happy to have associated with her.

The OTT market has slowed down. But both of your upcoming films have locked OTT deals even before release. How do you see this?

Not just Mrithyunjay and Vishnu Vinyasam, but the OTT deals for my next three films have been completed. Even if the producer receives his invested amount even before the release and earns a table profit, everyone will be happy.

Tell us about your upcoming films.

I’m doing an entertainer titled Comrade Kalyan. 80% of the shoot is wrapped up, and we are looking to release the film in August 2026. No one attempted an entertainer in the Naxalism space. It is a love story with ample fun. Up next, I will collaborate with Ram Abbaraju of Samajavaragamana and Nari Nari Naduma Murari fame.
