Arnold Vosloo, famed for playing Imhotep in The Mummy franchise, made his Tollywood debut with Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. He did well in a negative role, and in his recent media interaction, he talked about Hyderabad biryani.
He said his absolute favourite is mutton biryani. Being from South Africa, he grew up eating a lot of lamb, which is still his favourite meat over chicken or beef.
He also shared a funny incident from Hyderabad. During the shoot, he was served biryani and asked the chef how spicy it was. The chef said it was mild, just 4 out of 10. Vosloo believed him and took a bite, but the spice hit him hard. His gums started burning, and he began sweating.
He immediately asked for milk, beer or anything cold to get some relief. He then joked that he is a white dude from South Africa and that even a spice level of 1.5 out of 10 would be enough for him.
He was fun during the conversation. Whether he will sign another Telugu movie in the future is not known yet. We will have to wait for him to announce it.
