Young hero, Sumanth Ashwin is trying hard to stay afloat amidst the heavy competition in Tollywood. His latest presentation is ‘Right Right’ which is the remake of a super hit Malayalam film Ordinary. On the eve of the film’s release, we caught up with Sumanth for a detailed interview. Let’s see what he has to say.

Q) What is the film all about ?

Right Right is set in a small village and the whole story happens amidst an RTC bus. More than the comedy and a simple story line, there are many tense and suspense elements which drive the film.

Q) Have you made any changes for the remake ?

Yes ! we made a lot of changes from the original. Certain scenes which were quite slow in Malayalam have been replaced with comic episodes and also the run time has been decreased to under two hours.

Q) Tell us about your role in the film ?

I play a bus conductor whose ultimate dream was to become a police officer. How he ended up being a bus conductor and what happens to him during his job on the bus is the whole story about.

Q) How did you prepare for your role ?

The moment the makers narrated me the script, I instantly thought of Rajnikanth. Characters like these get well connected with the common audience and I had to work a lot on acting style. I even traveled in local buses and observed all the bus conductors just to get a feel of my character.

Q) Kalakeya Prabhakar is seen in a different role. Tell us about that ?

Probably, for the first time he is doing a subdued character. He plays a bus driver and has given a comical performance. I am sure that he will get a good name with this film.

Q) What was your dad’s reaction after watching the film ?

I always take suggestions from my dad before signing any film. Similarly, he made a few suggestions for this project too. Dad is quite happy with the way the film has shaped up.

Q) Looks like you are promoting the film quite heavily ?

Yes ! from the day we completed the shoot, our team decided to promote the film on a huge scale. Me and Prabhakar have been going around in bus driver uniforms and this itself has created a good buzz for our project.
