Mishan Impossible is a film that will be released next week. On this occasion, we caught up with the film’s director Swaroop for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.

How did this project materialize?

I had written this script based on real incidents even before Agent Athreya. Post the release of Agent, I developed it more and pitched it to the makers and here we are with the release.

What made you choose an experimental film like Mishan Impossible after Agent Athreya?

Even while making my debut everyone asked me why I was choosing a detective film. But as I was confident I made it. The same is with this film as well. The film has a very interesting storyline and I am confident that it will surely work at the box office.

Working with Taapsee?

The story is based on three little kids but Taapsee also has a key part. Very doubtfully, I went to Taapsee but she loved the script and came on board right away. The way she played the role is one of the biggest highlights of the film.

Releasing with RRR and KGF 2?

The summer season will start in April. Also, as we have got a solo release amidst RRR and KGF 2, we thought that the film will have a perfect release and have planned next week as the release.

Experience of working with the kids

I have auditioned so many kids but frankly speaking everyone was overacting. Finally, I tumbled upon these kids and trained them for over 60 days. When I was confident enough, I asked them to come on shoot.

Highlights of Mishan Impossible?

The storyline and suspense elements are one of the highlights. Also, the comic quotient in the film is very good. It has been narrated in equal doses and will surely impress one and all.
