Comedian-turned-hero Sapthagiri’s upcoming flick, Sapthagiri LLB, is scheduled for a December 7th release. On this occasion, we had a brief chat with him. Here is the transcript.
Q) Tell us about the film?
A) After the success of Sapthagiri Express, me and my producer have planned to do yet another good film. In the process, we chose the Bollywood hit film Jolly LLB and made necessary changes to suit our Telugu nativity. The film is all about the life story of a small-time lawyer named Sapthagiri LLB.
Q) Which aspect of the film do you think will attract the audience?
A) Last forty-five minutes of the film are going to be very gripping with some hard-hitting emotions. This sequence is going to be the highlight of the film.
Q) Tell us about your director Charan?
A) Charan is a senior most co-director in the industry and I have known him since my struggling days. He really worked hard and finished the film on time within the budget limitations.
Q) Do you see Sapthagiri title as a sentiment?
A) Actually, for Sapthagiri Express, the original title was Katamarayudu, but we had to opt out of it at the last moment and you know the actual story. Coming to this film, we chose Sapthagiri as a sentiment and retained the same as the title.
Q) Tell us about your producer Dr.K. Ravi Kirane?
A) He is a very nice human being. We are happy with the way Sapthagiri Express had performed. I’m very happy to collaborate with him again.
Q) Your next projects?
A) As of now, I’m busy promoting Sapthagiri LLB. I will let you know if anything gets finalized.
