2023 is undoubtedly the year of the Deols as Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol made solid comebacks in their respective careers. It all started with Dharmendra playing a controversial role in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani.

His lip lock with Shabana Azmi became a talking point. The film ended as a massive hit at the box office. But the best comeback was of Sunny Deol. He released his film Gadar 2 and there were not many takers during the initial release time.

But once the film started with solid word of mouth, the collections peaked, and Gadar 2 made just over 500 crores at the box office and ended as one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema.

Last but not least, Bobby Deol who was lying low and doing only OTT projects, got a solid role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. The film has broken several records and Bobby Deol has become a sensation of sorts.

All three Deols were out of work and looked upon negatively by the Bollywood media. But now, they are back in the game and how.
