Peddi marks the highly anticipated first collaboration between Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and director Buchi Babu Sana. The pan-Indian biggie is scheduled to hit theaters on June 4, 2026, releasing across multiple languages. To build up the excitement, the movie’s team is currently fully immersed in a hectic promotional campaign.
As part of these promotions, a newly released interview featured Ram Charan alongside Bollywood actors Boman Irani and Divyenndu Sharma. During the candid conversation, the veteran Irani shared an intriguing behind-the-scenes anecdote about the director’s strict perfectionism. He revealed that a specific scene, where his character shouts the phrase “Crossover Athlete,” required a staggering 78 takes.
According to Irani, Buchi Babu Sana refused to settle until he got the exact delivery he envisioned for the film. This dedication showcases that despite working with an industry veteran, the filmmaker pushed hard to milk the perfect performance.
Alongside this stellar cast, the film features powerhouse actors Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles, with backing from Vriddhi Cinemas and a highly anticipated soundtrack composed by AR Rahman.
