Icon Star Allu Arjun is currently busy shooting his next film with director Atlee. On his birthday (April 8), the team chose to unveil only the title and first-look poster, skipping any video content. While this initially disappointed fans, the decision now seems well thought out.
A couple of days ago, Ramayana’s Rama teaser drew criticism for its underwhelming VFX. Though Ramayana fans are hopeful the team will fix the issues before release, the backlash highlighted the risks of showcasing incomplete visuals.
In comparison, AA22 x A6 is still in the early stages of production, and its VFX work would naturally be in a nascent phase. Releasing a video asset at this point could have backfired and hurt the film’s momentum.
It makes more sense for Atlee to unveil video content only when the CGI reaches a polished stage. Fans, too are now backing the team’s decision. Backed by Sun Pictures, the biggie stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead.
