Back in 2019, the ace producer of Tollywood, Allu Arvind announced a 500-crore budget movie on the mythological epic Ramayana. He was supposed to produce it along with Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra. Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari was given the responsibility of direction along with Ravi Udyawar.
But since then, there hasn’t been any development, and it has been assumed that the project has been shelved. However, today Allu Arvind said that this project is very much on and added that the pre-production works have been going on for the last year and a half.
Allu Arvind further stated that the filming would begin in the Summer of 2023 and added that this film will be the costliest project ever made in Indian cinema by the time it hits the screens. So, the buzz grew on the film once again, and we needed to see who would play the key roles.
