Dacoit continues its strong hold in the second weekend and has crossed the ₹50 crore gross mark. The makers held a “Thank You” meet in Hyderabad today, where Adivi Sesh shared an incident about how Major inspired confidence in a lawyer who was assaulted.
Sesh said, “People are now focusing only on the business angle of cinema, but that man reminded me of the human side. The media reminded me of the credibility I earned through hard work. More than the name tag, I aim to build goodwill. My director refused to use a green mat. We took real risks for Dacoit.”
The actor added, “We worked hard to make the action sequences look realistic. There is a lot of grittiness in the film. We gave our all to deliver a great experience to the audience, and also shot the film in two languages. Over the last three years, I worked on Dacoit and Goodachari 2.”
“I am satisfied with Dacoit as it is both a hit and a good film. When I saw that lawyer last night, I felt truly happy. Today, audiences care only about content, regardless of the cast. I’m grateful for the support from the industry and media. I was shocked when Ram Charan garu tweeted about the film,” he concluded.
