Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin is all set to begin its second innings. After ending its theatrical run as the biggest box-office success of Akhil’s career, the romantic action drama is now gearing up for its OTT premiere with a notable update.
While ZEE5 had already announced August 7, 2026, as the streaming date, the platform has now widened the film’s digital reach. Apart from Telugu, Lenin will also be available in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, giving the film an opportunity to connect with audiences well beyond the Telugu states.
The theatrical release gave Akhil the breakthrough he had long been waiting for. Now, the OTT premiere opens another chapter for Lenin, with its multilingual release expected to introduce the film to a fresh set of viewers across South India. It will be interesting to see how the film resonates with audiences in the other language markets.
Directed by Murali Kishore, Lenin stars Bhagyashree Bose as the female lead, alongside Pramod Panju, Sivaji, Brahmaji, Sunil, Easwari Rao, Shatru, and others in key roles. The film is jointly produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Vamsi, with Thaman composing the music and background score.
