Sivakarthikeyan is currently busy with Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara and scheduled for release during Sankranthi. At the same time, one of his earlier Sankranthi releases has come back into discussion.
The film is Ayalaan, a sci-fi action drama that was released in Tamil on January 12, 2024. The film received average reviews. Though the makers had planned a simultaneous Telugu release, the plan did not materialise. Since then, the Telugu dubbed version neither released in theatres nor arrived on OTT, disappointing Telugu audiences who were waiting for it.
The film is now finally set for a Telugu release through television. Ayalaan will have its Telugu TV premiere on Zee Telugu on December 21, 2025, at 3 PM. This will mark the film’s first official release in Telugu. As of now, there is no update on the OTT release of the Telugu version.
The film stars Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Bhanupriya, and Yogi Babu. It is directed by R Ravikumar, produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh, with music composed by AR Rahman.
