Farhan Akhtar and Ranveer Singh had a fallout after the latter exited Don 3 a few days before the shoot. The gangster action drama has been shelved for now, and according to an exclusive report in Pinkvilla, the director is currently holding talks with Megastar Salman Khan for a large-scale period action drama.
The report mentioned, “Salman Khan and Farhan Akhtar have been meeting regularly over the last month and discussing a potential collaboration. Salman has liked what he has heard so far and has shown keen interest in the project. The talks are still at an early stage and have not yet reached the paperwork stage, but both sides are excited about the possibility of coming together for the first time.”
Salman Khan is currently working on an action film with Vamsi Paidipally, after which he will focus on a superhero film directed by Raj & DK. The proposed film with Farhan Akhtar, if it materializes, will go on floors in Summer 2027.
