Bollywood star Ajay Devgn bankrolled a film titled, Chhalaang. Starring Raj Kummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead role, the film skipped it’s theatrical release and had a direct OTT outing on streaming platform Amazon Prime.
Premiered today, the film has been receiving a positive response from the Amazon subscribers and film critics. Reportedly, director Hansal Mehta’s treatment and light-hearted emotions are said to be a major highlight for the film.
Set in a small town, the film majorly runs in a school backdrop where Raj Kummar Rao will be seen as a PT teacher and Nushrat Bharucha as a computer teacher.
Along with Ajay Devgn, T-Series banner and Luv Ranjan co-produced Chhalaang.
