Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 is now out in theatres after going through several release issues. The film marked the fourth collaboration between Balayya and Boyapati Sreenu after Simha, Legend, and Akhanda. The biggie had a PAN Indian release.
Producers Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta held a success meet a while ago in Hyderabad. During the interaction, the producers stated that the movie opened with 30% occupancy in North India across 800 screens. The makers commented that Akhanda 2 took a solid start in the Hindi belt and that the response from distributors and audiences is superb.
ZEE Studios handled the Hindi distribution, and the producers believe that Akhanda 2 will have a good run in Hindi. Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Harshaali Malhotra made her Tollywood debut with this flick, which also featured Samyukta and Aadi Pinishetty in crucial roles.
