Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD sequel shooting is happening quietly in Hyderabad, and the team has already completed two schedules involving Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and a few others. The movie is now back in the news as a strong buzz is going viral on social media that Alia Bhatt is playing a key role in this movie.
As per the ongoing buzz, it is not the Sumathi character that was earlier played by Deepika Padukone, but something else. Another buzz is that she has already shot a few scenes, and the makers didn’t leak any sort of news about her involvement.
Sai Pallavi is reportedly playing the main character, Sumathi. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie has the backing of Vyjayanthi Movies on a grand scale, and the film is being mounted with international-level production standards. Composer Santhosh Narayanan also returns to continue the franchise’s powerful musical identity.
