For the last couple of months, several descendants of Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy, the first Telugu freedom fighter from Uyyalawada, Kurnool, have been protesting against Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan.
The protestors alleged that Ram Charan had promised them an amount of Rs 50 crores for giving valuable information about Narasimhareddy to make Sye Raa. The protesters even filed a police complaint against Chiru and Charan earlier this week.
But it now looks like all is well between Narasimhareddy’s descendants and Chiranjeevi. Yesterday, several descendants of Narasimhareddy met with Chiru at his residence and invited him to the inauguration of Narasimhareddy’s memorial at the confluence of the Jurrer and Kundu Rivers near Rupanagudi in Uyyalawada mandal of Kurnool district. Chiru, who’s busy with Sye Raa promotions, assured them his presence at the inaugural ceremony.
