Yesterday, after failing to get the censor done for his upcoming political drama, Lakshmi’s NTR, director Ram Gopal Varma alleged that the CBFC is ‘illegally’ stopping his film’s release. RGV also threatened to move court against the CBFC. He had also called for a press meet today.
However, it now looks like all is well between RGV and the CBFC. Last night, Varma again tweeted, “there has been an unfortunate misunderstanding between our office and the CBFC which has now been cleared. The CBFC is now doing the necessary action as per the laid down procedure..Hence our press meet against the CBFC is cancelled..Jai NTR.”
Well, does this mean that Lakshmi’s NTR will see the light of day on March 22? Stay tuned for further updates.
