The first-ever female-centric spy action thriller from the YRF Spy Universe, Alpha, has officially arrived. Headlined by Alia Bhatt in the lead role, the highly anticipated movie is directed by Shiv Rawail. Yash Raj Films dropped the explosive teaser today, which boasts a runtime of 1 minute and 55 seconds.
The glimpse opens with Alia and her baba, played by Bobby Deol, dining in a lavish hotel as she celebrates her 18th birthday. To her surprise, her father presents her with her very first mission: a secret soldier initiative called Alpha, for which she has been rigorously trained. What follows is absolute mayhem as she goes rogue, taking on villains across various high-stakes operations with skilled techniques and sharp intelligence.
The teaser concludes with a striking final sequence where Alia, embodying a fierce avatar, drives a bullet into a man’s head. While the background score and visuals look stunning, Alia looks absolutely fierce, and Bobby Deol appears incredibly cool in his brief appearance. Co-stars Sharvari and Anil Kapoor are missing from this initial glimpse, but they are expected to feature heavily in future promotional content.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film features a story penned by Uday Chopra and music composed by the duo Rohansh and Abeer.
