It is already reported that Victory Venkatesh’s 90′ hit, Coolie No.1 is going to be remade in Bollywood. Senior director David Dhawan acquired the film rights and is remaking it in Hindi with his son Varun Dhawan.
The film is supposed to hit the screens in the second half of 2020 but the release was stalled due to Corona lockdown. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film is going to skip its theatrical release and go for a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime in the next month.
Sara Ali Khan is the female lead in the movie. Streaming details will be out soon.
