With the youthful entertainer Baby, Anand Deverakonda left a remarkable impact on the audience with his natural performance. The actor’s next release is Gam Gam Ganesha, a crime comedy which arrives on May 31st. In a recent interview, Anand said he had never thought he would be a part of a 100-crore film.
When asked if top directors are approaching him after Baby’s earth-shattering success, Anand Deverakonda said, “Surprisingly, big directors don’t come to me. I don’t know why. If 100 directors come to me with a script, 50 of them will be debutants. After Baby, many Tamil directors started to approach me. Nearly 20-25 Tamil directors wanted to do a film with me. I kept wondering.”
Anand Deverakonda feels nervous when people discuss trade and box office numbers. He believes that expectations of box office numbers will affect creativity. The young actor revealed that he is inspired by Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi, who play all kinds of roles across industries.
