Ram Pothineni’s latest release Andhra King Taluka opened to positive reviews and is performing steadily at the box office. Directed by Mahesh Babu P, the film stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead.
In the USA, the Friday release has earned $350K and is now close to the $500K mark. While this is a solid start, trade analysts note that Ram’s long-awaited $1M milestone may remain out of reach.
The key reason is the arrival of Akhanda 2, which begins USA premieres on 4 December 2025. Once the weekend ends and competition increases, Andhra King Taluka is expected to slow down, reducing the chances of crossing $1 million mark.
The film has collected Rs. 15 crore (worldwide) in its first 3 days. The Sunday figures will offer better clarity, and the real test begins Monday, when weekday trends settle in.
The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and also stars Upendra in a crucial role. Music is composed by Vivek and Mervin.
