Director Anil Ravipudi is currently enjoying the blockbuster success of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, starring Chiranjeevi with Nayanthara as the female lead. In a recent interaction with the press, Ravipudi spoke about his stance on directing remakes of his films.

He said he is happy that his movies are being remade in other languages but is not interested in directing those versions. The director revealed that he was approached to helm the remakes of Bhagavanth Kesari and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, but turned them down.

He also explained that his brand of comedy-driven entertainment may not work on a pan-India scale, as humour varies across regions, citing this as the reason why he makes regional movies only.

Meanwhile, Anil Ravipudi is preparing for his 10th film. He confirmed that the title has been locked and described it as a “crazy” one, while clarifying that no actor has been finalised yet, dismissing the ongoing rumours.
