Annapurna Studios is backing a small-budget film titled Pallaburusu, set against a rural backdrop. Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud play the lead roles, while Prajwal Yadma and Gomathy will be seen in key roles.
After launching a glimpse and a teaser, the makers today unveiled the theatrical trailer. As the previous promos indicated, the film focuses on the fractured relationship between an elderly man and his son. The father keeps asking his son to buy him a toothbrush, but the son is occupied with other family responsibilities.
As his son ignores his request, the elderly man approaches the legal system and files a complaint against his own son. The judges and police are shocked to learn the reason. The first half of the trailer highlights the fun elements, while the latter half hints at the film’s emotional depth. The father is deeply disappointed with the way his son treats him compared to the children of his peers, while Muralidhar Goud’s character has his own issues to deal with.
On the whole, the Pallaburusu trailer promises an endearing father-son drama that blends entertainment and emotions well. The film also features a love track involving youngsters. Pallaburusu will hit the big screens on August 14, 2026, during the Independence Day weekend.
