It looks like bad luck continues to haunt Kollywood hero Simbu. The actor’s latest film, a sci-fi political thriller titled Maanaadu, was supposed to have a grand gala release today with early morning shows at 5 AM in Chennai. However, all the benefit shows have been cancelled in the last minute.
According to the latest updates, KDM issues are the reason behind the cancellation of Maanaadu’s early morning shows. Thousands of dejected fans had to return to their homes with a hope to catch the next show at 8 AM, which is still uncertain. Also starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and SJ Suryah in lead roles, Maanaadu has been directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi. The film is releasing in Telugu as The Loop.
