It’s well-known that Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman has donned the producer’s hat with a romantic musical titled 99 Songs. AR Rahman is bankrolling the movie under his YM Movies banner.
This evening, Rahman took to his Twitter and revealed that 99 Songs will be released on June 21 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. 99 Songs features newcomers Ehan Bhat, Edilsy Varghese, Tenzil Dalha, Lisa Ray, Manisha Koirala, music composer Ranjit Barot and Indian Ocean’s Rahul Ram in prominent roles.
Interestingly, Rahman has also written the script for 99 Songs, apart from producing and composing music for it. Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy is the film’s director.
