Yesterday, BJP’s national spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao, during a debate on the much-talked-about Tamil film Mersal on a national TV channel, stirred up a controversy when he said that film stars have low IQ and general knowledge. Narasimha Rao’s comments were condemned by several Bollywood and southern film stars.
Vishnu Manchu took to Twitter this afternoon and gave a fitting retort to Narasimha Rao. In a series of tweets, Vishnu reminded the BJP leader that the legendary politicians like NT Ramarao, MGR and Jayalalithaa were film stars first. Vishnu asked the leader if movie stars had less IQ, are all politicians corrupt and thugs.
Vishnu went on to enlighten the senior politician, saying that one doesn’t need to have a very high IQ to express an opinion. The actor concluded saying that he married a Christian and practices Hindutva, respects the BJP and is a fan of Modi.
