Atlee has delivered many super-hit films in the past, but Jawan is his biggest project to date. The movie stars the universal charmer Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Jawan marks the Bollywood debut of director Atlee and music composer Anirudh. Today, the film’s pre-release event is conducted in Chennai.
During his speech, Atlee revealed that Thalapathy Vijay was the reason for Jawan to happen. He stated that it was Thalapathy Vijay who motivated him to do Jawan with SRK. Atlee said that he ignores negativity in his life, like the way his idol (Vijay) mentioned in Master film.
The movie has Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. Nayanthara plays the female lead, whereas Deepika Padukone plays a cameo. Gauri Khan, under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, produced this biggie. Jawan is slated for a grand release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on September 7.
