Audiences Praise Nagabandham After Makers Trim Film Runtime

Big-budget fantasy movies often undergo changes after hitting the big screen, and the latest Telugu film Nagabandham is doing exactly that. Directed by Abhishek Nama and starring Virat Karrna, the project drew immediate attention for its massive scale and visual effects.

While people loved the technical work, many early viewers felt the long runtime slowed down the movie. The team behind the film listened to this feedback immediately. They cut down the footage and introduced a revised version with a much sharper edit, giving the story better momentum.

The quick decision to trim the film is paying off. Audiences are reacting much better to the crisper version, pointing out that the pacing feels energetic and the storytelling keeps them hooked.

This growing word of mouth is starting to show at the ticket windows. Bookings officially crossed the half-million milestone, giving the film a solid push as it moves into its second week of release. According to the production team, Nagabandham managed to gross over Rs 35 crore worldwide during its first week in theatres.

Produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy under NIK Studios, the project highlights the team’s massive effort to create a rich visual experience.

Actor Jagapathi Babu shared his thoughts on the situation, stating that the film deserves to be judged on its actual storytelling strengths rather than just conversations about how long it is. He praised the makers for listening to the audience so quickly and urged moviegoers to head to theatres to experience the revised version for themselves before drawing any conclusions.
