Malayalam actress Poorna is popular among Telugu audiences for her roles in the horror film franchise, Avunu, Seema Tapakai and a brief cameo appearance in Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu. She will soon be seen in the period fantasy drama, Suvarna Sundari.
Now, as per the latest reports, Poorna has bagged a biggie in Kollywood. The talented actress has reportedly been chosen for a special role in Tamil star Suriya’s ongoing action drama, Kaappaan. However, Poorna’s role in the film has been kept under the wraps.
Kaappaan is being directed by star Tamil director KV Anand. The film also features Mollywood star Mohanlal, Tamil star Arya and Akhil’s heroine Sayyeshaa in prominent roles.
