National award-winning Tamil filmmaker Bala’s recently released film, Naachiyaar, has had a decent run at the box-offices across Tamil Nadu. The film had Jyothika and GV Prakash Kumar as the main leads.
Now, the latest buzz is that Naachiyaar’s Telugu rights have been acquired by Kalpana Koneru. Apparently, director Bala had suggested to remake the movie and Kalpana is keen on roping in star heroine Anushka for the leading lady’s role. If Anushka refuses to be part of the remake eventually, Naachiyaar will be dubbed in Telugu. Stay tuned for more updates.
