The uncertainty surrounding the release of Bhoot Bangla has finally come to an end. As widely speculated, the Akshay Kumar-starrer, directed by Priyadarshan, has now been officially postponed to April 17, 2026. However, there is an interesting twist that many may not have anticipated.
The makers have announced paid premieres for the film on April 16, 2026, starting from 9 PM. This strategic move is expected to minimise the impact of competition from Dhurandhar 2, especially when compared to the earlier planned release date of April 10, 2026.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar in key roles. Produced by Akshay Kumar along with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, the film’s music is composed by Pritam.
