Action King Arjun’s latest release, Blast, has turned out to be another money spinner from Kollywood. The film, which also stars Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in lead roles, emerged as a blockbuster at the ticket windows, earning handsome profits for all the involved parties.
After collecting Rs. 25 crore gross in its first weekend, the movie displayed an extraordinary hold during the weekdays, and the second weekend once again witnessed a phenomenal jump in business. So far, the movie has earned Rs. 58 crores gross globally.
This is a staggering number for a small-budget film which had very little pre-release hype. Debutant Subash Raj helmed this flick. AGS Entertainment backed the film, while Ravi Basrur composed the tunes.
