It is well known that Godavari Pushkaralu, the once in 12-year event, which is the dedicated way of worshiping the rivers by taking a holy dip, has started a couple of days ago in Rajahmundry and its surrounding areas. Scores of people from all over the country are thronging this auspicious event and the government of Andhra Pradesh has made elaborate arrangements for this sacred event.

The government has handed over a big responsibility to Tollywood’s ace filmmaker Boyapati Srinu. In this 12-day event, a special activity called Godavari Harathi is performed every day. The government is pretty keen on making this event a huge success by implementing a similar strategy like the Ganga Harathi at Varanasi. Dissatisfied due to the glitches in the initial arrangements for this event, the Chief Minister of AP ordered the officials to make some changes to make it much more convincing for the people who are coming to witness this grand event.

So, the government has nominated Boyapati Srinu to oversee the smooth happening of this prestigious event with a sensible management of the arrangements. Taking up the challenge, the star director has made good arrangements to the stage where the Harathi is performed so that all the pilgrims can have a clear view of this prestigious event without any trouble. Now, it is heard the event is getting good recognition from the pilgrims after the changes have been made.
