Mass Ka Das Vishwaksen arrived in theatres this Ugadi with the film Das Ka Dhamki. The movie is directed by Vishwaksen himself. The actor’s last flick was Ori Devuda, a fantasy rom-com. Ori Devuda was released during Diwali and was the official remake of the Tamil hit Oh My Kadavule. The movie did well in its theatrical run.
The latest buzz is that the popular entertainment channel Gemini TV has acquired the satellite rights of the movie for a reasonable price. Mithila Palkar and Asha Bhat played the female leads in the Telugu remake, which was directed by Ashwath Maramathu, who also helmed the original.
Victory Venkatesh reprised the God role played by Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil. PVP Cinema co-produced the movie with Sri Venkateshwara Creations. Leon James composed the music. Rahul Ramakrishna and Murali Sharma played vital roles.
