Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen next in Shaakuntalam, a mythological drama directed by Gunasekhar. Unni Mukundan is the male protagonist in this flick.
The movie is all set for a grand release in theaters on February 17, 2023, in multiple languages. The latest buzz is that the movie’s OTT rights are acquired by the noted streaming service Amazon Prime Video for a whopping price. However, we need to await the official announcement from the makers.
Shaakuntalam has Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Aditi Balan, Gauthami, Ananya Nagalla, Allu Arha and Kabir Duhan Singh in key roles. Produced by Neelima Guna under Gunaa Team Works, the film will be out in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada in 2D and 3D formats.
