The makers of Ram Charan’s Peddi recently announced that the sports action drama will hit the screens on April 30, against the initial plan of a March 26 release. The first single, Chikiri Chikiri, which was released a few months ago, turned out to be a blockbuster success.
The second single was supposed to drop this week, but it looks like the makers have changed their promotional plans. Reportedly, the song launch is now expected to happen in the last week of February or the first week of March. An official confirmation is awaited. The protagonist’s intro song will be released as the second single.
The film’s production is yet to be wrapped up. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the movie stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani will be seen in vital roles. AR Rahman is composing the music, while Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas is bankrolling Peddi.
