For the past few months, several names have been speculated to star in the biopic of legendary actress Madhubala. An exclusive report by Pinkvilla suggests that Dhurandhar fame Sara Arjun will take on the challenging role in the film, which is set to be directed by Jasmeet K Reen.
The report states, “Sara will undergo an extensive physical transformation to authentically portray Madhubala’s timeless grace and charm. From costume detailing to dialect training and look tests, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to recreate the era with precision.”
The film is currently in pre-production and is expected to go on floors later this year. It promises to offer an exceptional cinematic experience rooted in the golden era of Hindi cinema. Popular filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali will produce the biographical film.
