Recently, South Indian beauty Shruti Haasan shared the happy news that she began shooting for her upcoming international project, Chennai Story, directed by the BAFTA winner Philip John.
The latest buzz is that Shruti walked out of this project due to reasons that are currently unknown. If this is for real, we need to see who will fill the void she has left. It’s worth noting that Samantha Ruth Prabhu was the first choice for the project.
Chennai Story is a coming-of-age romantic comedy featuring Viveik Kalra, Nimmi Harasgama, and Sahana Vasudevan, among others. Guru Films, Ripple World Pictures, and Ie Ie Productions are the backers with the support of the British Film Institute’s (BFI) UK Global Screen Fund. Wait for more details.
