Hero Siddharth was last seen as a hero in his straight Telugu film, Jabardast, in 2013. He recently signed a lead role in Ajay Bhupathi’s intense action drama, Maha Samudram. Sid is all set to commence shooting for this much-talked-about project in November.

This evening, Sid took to Twitter and expressed his joy on making a comeback in Tollywood after a long gap. “Starting work on my first #Telugu film in 8 years #mahasamudram next month. Chaalaa anandhanga undhi. Need your wishes,” Sid tweeted, also saying that Maha Samudram has a great team and cast of co-actors.

Maha Samudram also features Sharwanand, Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel in lead roles. Anil Sunkara is bankrolling the project.
