Tollywood young actor Roshan Meka, son of Srikanth, recently came up with the period action drama Champion, which also has a sports angle. Set in post-independent India, the film showcases the Razakar system under the Nizam rule. It is directed by Pradeep Advaitham, and the makers were lauded for their sincere attempt.
The latest update reveals that Champion will be available for streaming from January 29 (Thursday) on Netflix. The OTT platform has updated the digital premiere date in its catalogue. As of now, there is no information regarding the dubbed versions. The OTT window is five weeks. Champion marks popular Mollywood actress Anaswara Rajan’s Tollywood debut.
The movie is bankrolled by Priyanka Dutt, GK Mohan, and Gemini Kiran under Swapna Cinema, Anandi Art Creations, and Concept Films, with Zee Studios presenting it. Nandamuri Kalyana Chakravarthy, Murali Sharma, Santosh Pratap, and others played supporting roles. Mickey J Meyer composed the music.
