Actor Srikanth’s son Roshan Meka is set to amuse audiences with his upcoming film Champion. The film is backed by Swapna Cinema, the production house known for delivering good content consistently National Award winner Pradeep Advaitham helmed this flick, and Mollywood actress Anaswara Rajan is making her Tollywood debut with this flick.
The Gira Gira Gingiraagirey song has already emerged as a chartbuster, and the recently unveiled theatrical trailer further enhanced the hype around this Roshan starrer. While the teaser didn’t reveal plot details, the trailer clearly showed that the film revolves around the genocide carried out by the Razakars in the Nizam region after India attained Independence.
Along with this backdrop, the trailer also hints at a neat blend of love, fun, emotions, and a football angle. If these elements are executed well, the film could appeal to a wider audience. Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s presence at the trailer launch event also worked in the film’s favour.
Priyanka Dutt, GK Mohan, and Gemini Kiran are producing Champion under the banners of Swapna Cinema, Anandi Art Creations, and Concept Films, with Zee Studios presenting it. Mickey J. Meyer is composing the music. The movie is slated to hit the big screens on December 25, 2025.
