Adivi Sesh is aggressively promoting his new film Dacoit, a romantic action drama. The movie, also starring Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap, is set to hit theatres on April 10. The film is backed by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, with Annapurna Studios presenting it. Dacoit marks the directorial debut of Shaniel Deo.

In an interview, Sesh revealed that he was initially part of Krishna Vamsi’s superhit Chandamama but was shown the door after a few days. He said, “I was the initial choice for Navdeep’s role in Krishna Vamsi garu’s Chandamama. It was initially titled ‘Mallepuvvu’, but after a few days of shooting, I was fired because my acting wasn’t good enough back then.”

Sesh is now among the bankable actors in Telugu cinema and has earned a reputation for his script choices and writing skills. His Goodachari 2 is one of the most-awaited films in Tollywood, with not just Sesh’s fans but general audiences also eagerly looking forward to it.
