Director Ravi Namburii, who made his directorial debut with Chennai Love Story, shared an emotional moment at the film’s success meet by crediting his wife, Swapna, for standing by him throughout his journey.
Speaking at the event, Ravi said he had hardly spent time with his family over the past one-and-a-half years, revealing that the only thing he did for his wife was order food online. He credited her for always being by his side and said he owed his current success to her.
Ravi also made a sweet promise, saying that until he begins work on his next film, he will spend more time with his family, buy mangoes for his wife from the market, and help take care of their child. His speech drew warm applause from the audience.
Released on July 24, 2026, Chennai Love Story stars Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya in the lead roles. The romantic drama has passed the Monday test at the box office. The film is produced by SKN and Sai Rajesh, with music composed by Mani Sharma.
