Noted singer, Chinmayi is in the news more for her controversies than her songs. She has now once again made news as she is going to contest the South Indian Cine Television Artistes and Dubbing Artistes Union elections to be held in Chennai soon.
Chinmayi filed her nomination earlier today amidst a lot of chaos and trolling which happened at the association building. A life member of the union, Chinmayi was removed from the union by its then-president Radha Ravi.
Some other members along with Chinmayi submitted their nominations and only time will tell whether their nominations have been accepted or not by the board. These elections will be held soon and are for the president of the Dubbing Artistes Union
