Everyone is well aware that Megastar Chiranjeevi is not only a great actor but also a philanthropist. He founded Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT) in 1998 and since then many of his fans have donated blood to save the lives of millions.

Today, as a token of gratitude, Chiranjeevi has come up with ‘Chiru Bhadrata’, a personal accident insurance policy for the volunteers who donated blood more than 50 times. He invited Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana to felicitate the donors and also present them with the Chiru Bhadrata cards. More than 2000 people have been honoured with the cards.

Every donor has been insured with a sum of Rs. 7 lakhs and all the premium charges will be paid by CCT. Governor also heaped praise on the actor and the blood donors for their deeds. Netizens also praised the great initiative.
