A grand success event of Ram Charan’s Peddi was held at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad, recently. Megastar Chiranjeevi graced the event as the chief guest and made an interesting comment about Charan’s performance.
“Charan could have simply done what the director asked of him, but he went the extra mile. Everyone is hailing Peddi as Charan’s one-man show. People are saying he should win the National Award. Winning the award or not isn’t the question, and there are multiple ways to secure it. What matters most is the audience’s love. It is bigger than any award,” said Chiranjeevi.
Janhvi Kapoor played the female lead. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, the film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, and Boman Irani in key roles. AR Rahman is the music composer.
